There’s nothing better than a Friday night at Everton Park Sharks. From October through March, our family-friendly swim club in Everton Park comes alive with:
Gates open at 5:30pm · Races start at 6pm
Everyone is welcome at our Come & Try nights — the perfect way to see what Sharks is all about.
Join us this season and make Friday nights fun, active, and family-friendly!
Each week, nominations for Friday night races open in the Swim Club app. It’s quick and simple:
You can nominate right up until 5:00pm on the day of club night.
For new or younger swimmers, we recommend starting with the 12.5m races. As confidence and times improve, swimmers can move up to longer distances.
All Friday night race results are published live in the Swim Club Connect app during the night.
Once races are finished, results remain available in the app so you can check. times, personal bests, and progress anytime.
It’s the easiest way for swimmers and families to keep track of achievements and celebrate improvements week after week.
At Everton Park Sharks, parents and volunteers are the heart of our club. Helping with timekeeping on Friday club nights is one of the most important ways you support our swimmers.
To say thanks, every time you volunteer as a timekeeper you’ll earn volunteer points — our way of recognising the heroes who keep the races running.
Swim Club Connect App offers a 30-day free trial. Should you wish to have annual access to the App, a small charge of $10.49 per year is available in the app, not to the club.
The committee kindly asks members to treat this fee as a contribution towards saving hours of administration time conducted by your fellow club parents, who generously volunteer their personal time to run our kids' swim club.
Club Swim Nights are held each Friday night during Term Four and Term One of the school year. You must be a financial member of the Club to attend Club Swim Nights, with the exception of our ‘Come & Try’ nights, where everyone is welcome.
Our aim is to provide an opportunity for all Club members to swim any, or all, strokes against their own personal best time at a distance suitable to their capabilities. Points are accumulated throughout the season by each swimmer, which may qualify them for trophies or awards at the end of the season.
Swim Caps must be worn on Club Nights.
PARENTAL ASSISTANCE
Parents are required to fill the timekeeper positions and assist with the canteen each Club Night. All parents and members can assist in the running of the Club. Please be prepared to assist. Events will not commence until all positions are filled. Volunteers must be either a parent of a swimmer, or hold a current Blue Card. Tea, coffee and snacks are provided for all volunteers during the supper break.
Children must be accompanied by an adult for the entire night.
